The Crystal Mill stands tall near the historic Crystal townsite along the Crystal River. Built in 1893, the mill is a sight to behold in the fall. Autumn leaves turn golden in the surrounding hillsides. It requires a hike or drive down a rough 4WD road to access it from the town of Marble, where Colorado Yule marble is quarried. Because of its quality and purity, it has been used in the buildings of many famous landmarks, most notably the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.
Measuring 20x27", the mill and surrounding autumn-colored hillsides make for a challenging, yet fun 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
