Photographic Story

This was the first shot I took in Europe. (or outside of the US for that matter) It probably could have been better had I not been super jet-lagged, but I'm still happy with it. The hotel I stayed at was near the tiny cross below the Matterhorn. We walked across Zermatt to the north east part of town to shoot as the last light of day was fading. The Matterhorn was spectacular, and gave off a purple-ish blue hue that night under clear skys. If I get the chance to go back, I'd like to stay the night in a mountain hut above the town and attempt to capture star trails on a clear night above the Matterhorn.
