Photographic Story

Latourell Falls is pictured, with it's slender long falls flowing straight off the cliff-face. Coming from Portland, it's the first waterfall on the Historic Columbia River Highway. Latourell Falls is also one of the only major falls in the Columbia River Gorge not to cascade or tumble in some way. The falls drop straight off the cliff-face for almost 250 feet!
