
About the Photo
During a dry, hot summer, the salt marshes at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge started to dry up. What was left where these phenominal mudcracks that I just had to go photograph. I managed to catch them during a nice sunset, showcasing that even in a major drought, nature can be beautiful.
