Photographic Story
Blooming rhododendrons brighten up the forest floor of redwood trees while sea fog drifts through the forest canopy creating a mythical and surreal setting. Standing amongst these ancient redwoods is an experience like no other, though photographing in a forest like this can be one of the most challenging types of scenery to work with. A forest is so chaotic, with trees, shrubs, plants, flowers and other plant life covering the forest floor. Finding a pattern or way to make a scene stand out presents a unique challenge. Thankfully these rhododendrons bloom for a few weeks out of the year in late May and early June to give a hint of pink to the scene. This particular redwood scene was shot in the Del Norte Redwoods State Park, which is one of the most northern section of redwoods in California, just a dozen miles or so from the Oregon board and only a mile or two from the Pacific Ocean itself.

HD Acrylic Prints (Ready to Hang)
If you’re looking for luxury and quality, then an HD acrylic piece of fine art is the de facto standard! Details from the image emerge from the acrylic in an almost HD-like appearance due due to the transparency layer that is infused with iridium particles and is encapsulated in a layer suspended between the white poly surface and Acrylic. The final product is finished with an recessed float mount that allows for easy hanging without the need of an external frame creating a modern gallery look that is perfect for any home or office.
ROMA Framed Lumachrome (Ready to Hang)
For those wanting something truly spectacular, I offer TruLife acrylic prints framed with Italian hand-made ROMA moulding frames in a variety of styles. Most styles come available in 2", 3" and 4" widths, coupled with white or black linen liners. Framed pieces can also come without a linen liner if you prefer to let the artwork and frame stand out more. ROMA moulding frames are hand crafted in popular styles such as Arber, Tabacchino and Moda lines. The default frame style is ROMA Tabacchino Dark Ash, which is also the most popular of frame choices. Other options are available upon request.
Gallery Plaque Mount Prints (Ready to Hang)
Both elegant and modern in feeling, gallery plaque mount prints are a beautiful addition to my print medium options. Printed on a glossy surface, they are mounted to MDF board and beleved with a black edge. A mini backing is added to the board, allowing the print to float off the wall.
Larson-Juhl Framed Plaque Prints (Ready to Hang)
While gallery plaque mounts are ready to hang as-is, adding a Larson-Juhl frame to a plaque mount creates a touch of elegance to the artwork and makes it really stand out with a unique approach to framed art. The plaque mount sits on a bottom stacked second solid-black plaque, creating a couple of inches of open space between the print and the frame. The result is a piece of art both luxurious and modern! Chromaluxe Metal Prints (Ready to Hang)
Using a method called dye sublimation, Chromaluxe is my choice for metal prints. Chromaluxe metal prints are created by taking an archival fine art print and infusing it into an aluminum sheet, creating a much more durable and visually stunning product than printing directly to aluminum like other metal print methods. Surprisingly light-weight, Chromaluxe metal prints are resistant to scratching while having that shiny, high gloss look that makes an image pop!
Fuji Crystal Archive Pearl Prints
Do you want a high quality print, but plan to frame and matt the print yourself? Fuji Crystal Archive Pearl prints are the way to go then! Fuji Crystal Archive Pearl prints come mounted onto 2mm styrene to protect them until you have time to get them framed. Available in sizes up to 36" wide.
