Photographic Story

The Menehune Alekoko Fish Pond is one of Kauai's most interesting places. Just minutes from the town of Lihue, legend has it that this fishing pond was built over a thousand years ago by the mythical Menehune people of Hawaii! For us, this fish pond was the last place we visited before heading to the airport and back to the mainland. It was a beautiful place, and a fitting end to a wonderful Kaua'i experience!
