Photographic Story

The sun sets from the shortest hiking trail vista in Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park. This view is not far from the parking lot where visitors can get a nice glimpse at the size and scope of the badlands looking towards the west. When I shot this, wheat harvest was underway. Numerous farmers were harvesting wheat in the area, which accounts for the hazy, yet vivid, sunset.
