Photographic Story

I woke up on the morning I shot this to find out I had missed out on a glorious sunrise. Bummed, I checked the weather to see what kind of cloud cover there would be for a sunset. I was hoping maybe to at least get a decent sunset shot out of the day. I had also come up with the idea to go try a time lapse shot down at the round-about clock tower in the Delano District of Wichita, Kansas. I raced home from work and grabbed the camera. I first stopped the Keeper of the Plains, figured the sunset might be a dud, and proceeded to Delano thinking I could at least practice the time lapse shot. After setting the shot up, however, this beautiful scene unfolded and I got exactly what I wanted!
