Altoona Mill Falls
Along the Verdigris River in Altoona, Kansas is a beautiful waterfall next to the remainds of Altoona Mill. The mill was built in the 1800s and the waterfall is called Altoona Falls.Featured: Altoona Mill Falls
About Altoona Mill Falls
Altoona Mill Falls are situated next to the remains of a 1870s flour mill on the west side of Altoona, Kansas. To reach them, go west on 7th St from Highway 75. The elementary school is just north of the falls. Alternatively, you could get access to the falls from the west bank by going down 1025 Rd just south of Highway 75 on the west side of the Verdigris River.
