Kansas is Beautiful - A Travel Guide to Kansas by Mickey Shannon Photography
From the rolling Flint Hills to the towering chalk pyramids of Monument Rocks, Kansas has both obvious and hidden beauty. I created Kansas is Beautiful as a way to showcase all the travels I have made in my home state of Kansas. I've traveled to dozens of waterfalls, driven all the beautiful byways, sat out under the stars at Teter Rock, watched many sunset at the Keeper of the Plains and hiked the trails at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. There is so much beauty to this state if you just do a little adventuring and exploring. Hopefully the pages of information you find here will help you to discover it for yourself!
